According to the artist, Paul Davis, only a handful “3 or 4” of this print was created to have been used for a Sports Illustrated cover shoot of Muhammed Ali punching through the print. When printed it was decided it was too nice to destroy. The final cover photo simply has Ali standing in front of the Liston print, appearing on May 24, 1965. FABULOUS and rare.
Included with poster is a copy of the Sports Illustrated magazine.
