  • Linen backed

Linen backing is the industry standard of conservation. Canvas is stretchered and a sheet of acid free barrier paper is laid down. The poster is then pasted to the acid free paper using an acid free paste. This process is fully reversible and gives support to the poster. A border of linen is left around the poster and can be used by a framer to mount the poster so that nothing touches the poster itself.

The price of this poster includes linen backing.

  • We animals really are well-off in London. Take the London Zoo - smart new Elephant House, brilliant and unconventional new Aviary (not quite finished), classic-of-modern-architecture Penguin Pool, all in the setting of Nash's Regents Park. Whipsnade's wide open spaces are high on Dunstable Downs - just like home but safer and very much more comfortable. Chessington is more intimate and caters specially for children. At all three zoos we welcome visitors. They enjoy themselves. And, of course, they interest and amuse us too... Ask for a free 'Know Your Animals' leaflet at any London Transport Enquiry Office
