Very rare stock concert poster for Marian Anderson, American contralto and Civil Rights activist. Among her many career highlights were being the first African American to perform at the Metropolitan Opera in New York in 1955 and singing at the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom in 1963. Her manager, Sol Hurok, played an instrumental role in her career.
