Crowds line the waters edge and a vast ocean of seating sits empty, awaiting speeches. The warships fly the Stars and Stripes of the US flag and Cuban flag flies over the castle and waterfront. The road behind the waters edge is choked with horse drawn vehicles with only a small number of automobiles.
