A bright, abstract, kaleidoscopic view of Times Square, with its billboards, lights, traffic, energy and excitement. The electric Day-Glo colors exude the visual splendor of the city. This is the rare first printing of the poster, featuring a detailed image of a TWA Constellation. Later versions depict the silhouette of a jet plane. A year after it was issued, an example of this poster was acquired by the Museum of Modern Art for their permanent collection. This is the original printing. Metzl p. 166, Airways p. 148 (var), MoMA 329.1957, Taschen p. 444 (var).
