Linen backing is the industry standard of conservation. Canvas is stretchered and a sheet of acid free barrier paper is laid down. The poster is then pasted to the acid free paper using an acid free paste. This process is fully reversible and gives support to the poster. A border of linen is left around the poster and can be used by a framer to mount the poster so that nothing touches the poster itself. Backing is what we recommend for framing, and for any poster needing restoration.

One of Know Your Florida Fish posters created The Florida Department of Natural Resources, (which merged into the Department of Environmental Protection in 1993) in conjunction with the Florida Sea Grant College Program, charting the various local fish speices along with educational material.
Snapper-Grouper Compex illustrated include:
Snappers: Red snapper, mutton snapper, black snapper, queen snapper, silk snapper, cubera snapper, yellowtail snapper, lane snapper, and vermilion snapper.
Groupers: Black grouper, Warsaw grouper, tiger grouper, misty grouper, red hind, Nassau grouper, red grouper, gag, scamp, and snowy grouper. Jacks & Pelagics:
Greater amberjack, lesser amberjack, banded rudderfish, almaco jack, and ocean triggerfish.
Other Reef Fish: Blueline tilefish, golden tilefish, hogfish, sheepshead, black sea bass, and various porgies.
