Linen backing is the industry standard of conservation. Canvas is stretchered and a sheet of acid free barrier paper is laid down. The poster is then pasted to the acid free paper using an acid free paste. This process is fully reversible and gives support to the poster. A border of linen is left around the poster and can be used by a framer to mount the poster so that nothing touches the poster itself. Backing is what we recommend for framing, and for any poster needing restoration.

International theatrical release of the William Witney cowboy western movie made from two 1966 episodes of the television series "Bonanza", entitled "Ride the Wind" ("written by Paul Schneider"; the Cartwrights save the Pony Express from going under, by protecting it from hostile Paiute Native American Indians).
Starring Lorne Greene (as Ben Cartwright), Dan Blocker (as Hoss Cartwright), Michael Landon (as Little Joe Cartwright), Victor Jory, and Rod Cameron. Of course, the show "Bonanza" ran from 1959 to 1973, and it initially also starred Pernell Roberts as Adam Cartwright, but he left the show in 1965.
