Linen backing is the industry standard of conservation. Canvas is stretchered and a sheet of acid free barrier paper is laid down. The poster is then pasted to the acid free paper using an acid free paste. This process is fully reversible and gives support to the poster. A border of linen is left around the poster and can be used by a framer to mount the poster so that nothing touches the poster itself. Backing is what we recommend for framing, and for any poster needing restoration.

Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, Daniel Haller science fiction (sci-fi) outer space fantasy thriller (based on the famous newspaper comic strip; "The hero of Tomorrow is here TODAY"; "The original space man! The ultimate trip! Buck Rogers swings back to earth and lays it on the 25th Century!"; "Written by Glen A. Larson & Leslie Stevens"; about a man from the 20th century who wakes up from suspended animation 500 years later!).
Starring Gil Gerard (in the title role as Buck Rogers), Erin Gray, Pamela Hensley, Tim O'Connor, Henry Silva ("as Kane" on the style B one-sheet but as "as Cain" on the regular one-sheet!), William Conrad, and Twiki (the small robot played by Felix Silla).
This was a 90 minute TV pilot, but the producers were so impressed by it that they released it theatrically first, and it did quite well at the box office, and then it was shown as a TV pilot, and there was a subsequent TV series that ran for two seasons.
