Scuolo Elementare Italian 2 Fogli Movie Poster

  • Unbacked

This poster is currently unbacked. At check out, you will be given the opportunity to add backing which would cost $325 and take approximately 6-8 weeks.

Linen backing is the industry standard of conservation. Canvas is stretchered and a sheet of acid free barrier paper is laid down. The poster is then pasted to the acid free paper using an acid free paste. This process is fully reversible and gives support to the poster. A border of linen is left around the poster and can be used by a framer to mount the poster so that nothing touches the poster itself. Backing is what we recommend for framing, and for any poster needing restoration.

  • Scuola Elementare (literally translates to "Elementary School"), Italian school teacher romantic comedy (about a young man who becomes a teacher at a school, and he is friends with the janitor, who dreams of becoming a rich businessman, and the teacher is torn between staying at the school, where he can help the underprivileged students, or taking a better job)

Directed by Alberto Lattuada, starring Riccardo Billi, Mario Riva, Lise Bourdin, Alberto Rabagliati, Rene Clermont, and Marc Cassot.

Completely forgotten today, except by major film buffs, and never released in the U.S. If the plot seems very familiar, it is because it was borrowed for the plot of "To Sir, With Love" in 1967.

    Folded as original.
