Extremely rare and wonderful poster for wine retailer Nicolas.
Dransy's memorable, wide-eyed delivery man labors under the weight of red wine bottles on his left and white wine bottles on his right. The first version done in 1922, this image was so popular that it was used and reused over the years and appears in many different sizes and with slightly different text, usually appearing bearing the firm name "Nicolas."
