  • "The Apache Trail" was a side trip organized by the railroad for travelers on the route to California. Passengers would leave the train and be taken by car "through Arizona's Salt River Valley made possible by construction of the Roosevelt Dam" (Zega p. 55). Travel went from Phoenix to Globe, Arizona, seeing the Lower Tonto Cliff Dwellings near Apache Lodge, Fish Creek Canyon, Roosevelt Dam and Canyon Lake.

    Please note 2 old faint horizontal crease lines. Very rare and wonderful poster.
