Extremely rare poster, Lord Herbert Horatio Kitchener, the British Secretary of State for War, wears a British field marshal's hat and points directly at viewers, urging Australians to join and support the Commonwealth in WWI.
Published by STL, Australia.This is a variant of the iconic Lord Kitchener Wants You poster, designed by Alfred Leete, which inspired James Montgomery Flagg’s famous I Want You.
The only other example we can find is in the permanent collection of the Imperial War Museum.
